Strawberry and Kiwi Clafoutisa

By Emiko S.

It is April and spring! I had been waiting for coming spring. I want to go watch the cherry blossoms and feel spring. I don't want any more snow and chill weather.
Today I will introduce clafoutis, which is a baked French dessert of black cherries arranged in a buttered dish and covered with a thick flan-like batter. The clafoutis is dusted with powdered sugar and served lukewarm.
Instead of cherry, I will use some strawberries and kiwis. Let's try it!

Ingredients ( 5.5"x9"x3 loaf pan)
・1/4 cup of flour
・1/4 cup of sugar
・Salt
・5-6 eggs
・2 tablespoon of condensed milk
・1/2 cup of whipping cream
・1/8 cup of butter
・1 tablespoon of liqueur
・1 and 1/2 cup of milk
・1 pack of strawberries
・3 kiwis
・Powder sugar
・Butter and granulated sugar for pan

Directions:
1.Slice strawberries and kiwis about 0.5 inch size.
2.Put butter inside the loaf pan and sprinkle granulated sugar into the loaf pan.
3.Place strawberries and kiwis on the loaf pan.
4.Preheat oven for 390°
5.Mix flour, sugar and salt together well in the bowl.
6.Add eggs in the bowl and mix well.
7.Add condensed milk and whipping cream in the bowl and mix well.
8.Bake for 40 minutes for 390°and bake another 25 minutes for 350°.
9.Serve hot or cool in refrigerator for easy cutting.
Enjoy!
