I am introducing a few Japanese phrases that you can use with your child from the time he/she gets up in the morning until your little one goes to bed. Speaking Japanese with your child at home is fun, and makes it easier to remember. Enjoy Japanese life with family and friends!

・部屋をかたづけて。(Heya o katazukete.) Clean up your room.
・この服にきがえて。(Kono fukuni kigaete.) Put these clothes on.
・トイレと歯磨きをきちんとやってね。(Toire to Hamigaki o kichinto yattene.)
Make sure you go potty and brush your teeth (before we leave.)
・ライトをけして。(Raito/Light o keshite. ) Turn off the lights.
・ジャケットをもってきて。(Jaketto/Jacket o mottekite.) Bring your jacket.
・窓をしめて。(Mado o shimete.) Close the window.
・窓の鍵をかけて。(Mado no kagi o kakete.) Lock the window.
・ガレージをあけて。(Gareiji/Garage o akete.) Open the garage.
・この荷物を車にのせて。(Kono nimotsu o kuruma ni nosete.) Take the stuff to the car.
・シートベルトをしめて。(Shiitoberuto/Seatbelt o shimete.) Put your seatbelt on.
・準備はできた? (Jyunbi wa dekita?) Are you ready?
