ETC discount and free toll roads will make traveling easier for everyone who live in Japan, but asking for directions maybe diffi cult without knowing the name of the streets. In the states, highway exits are labeled with numbersor the name of the town at where the exit is located. If you get lost in Japan and need to fi nd a way back to the express way, it is better for you to know the name of the exit of which you got off than asking people by the numbers of the exits. I am noting some of the useful phrases you may use when you encounter diffi culty fi nding places.
