The cherry-picking season officially started June 23rd in Nanbu Town.
The Beni Sayaka cherry also known as“Red Delight”is the first species to ripen. This smaller cherry is heart shaped, juicy and sweet! The Sato Nishiki and Nanbu Nishiki varieties will be available to harvest mid-July.
No reservations are needed. Just go to the Nagawa Agricultural Tourist Center (#14 on the map.) They will call a farmer to come pick you up and bring you to the farm!
If you would like a free English color brochure with map, drop by Misawa ITT or Misawa Inn and pick one up!
